Sweet Family Time!

Yesterday we went to my parents house because we are going to be going out of town next week and they are dogsitting for us.  Its been three days since i have posted food on here.  We have been so super duper busy and I took advantage of being with my parents and brothers the past few days.

Thursday for breakfast i just had an unpictured sugar free dulce de leche pudding cup (delicious)

For lunch we went to Jason's deli.  I had the salad bar and spinach veggie wrap (DELICIOUS) and a cup of fruit.  Jason's deli is seriously my favorite place to go.  I am obsessed with good salad bars.  I did a really good job not going overboard with the pasta salads.  I just had a tiny bit of couscous salad.  It was the best salad I have ever made.   I am not the biggest fan of egg yolks in boiled eggs so i scraped them out and saved a ton of points!   I totally have this in my tracker but i'm too lazy to go see how many points it was.

For supper we met some of our friends for supper at Logan's Roadhouse.  They had this special where you could get 2 entrees, an appetizer, and a dessert for 19.99.  Well i let my love of a bargain get the best of me...boo.   I did stay under my points but I would have rather chosen more healthy filling foods.  My entree was perfectly healthy I ate half of my chopped steak and I got 2 veggie skewers with it.  We order the onion petals for our appetizer and I ate 6 of them (they made my stomach feel terrible).   I ate half a bowl of chili.  Then the real kicker...we had dessert, cheesecake to be more exact.  I had about 1/4 of it and I am not going to lie it was WONDERFUL!

However hubby and I were both so full we were almost sick.  I am going to trace the problem back to breakfast.  All I had was a pudding cup and for lunch we ate salad and half of a wrap.  I just wasn't full so after the meeting I was starving and got carried away.  I am not going to make that mistake again.

Friday morning we got up and took our sweet baby to my parents.  I didn't get a picture but I made us a breakfast sandwhich.  It was 2 egg whites, 2 turkey sausage links, and a tiny sprinkle of cheese between 2 pieces of sourdough.  it was 7 PointsPlus.

For lunch we went out with my dad and brothers (mom was at work).  My dad if given the choice is without a doubt going to go with mexican, so to eat mexican we went.   They have a buffet so I fixed me a plate full of lettuce, pico, onions, chicken fajita meat and gauacamole.  I also had 12 chips with it.  It was 13 PointsPlus.

Then for supper of course we went out again ( I AM SICK OF EATING OUT).  We went to a wing place so I knew that wasn't an option.  They had a special with steak, baked potato and salad so I figured that was the best option.  It was pretty good.  I had 2/3 of the steak and very little of the salad.

This morning I just had a quick breakfast of wheat thins and peanut butter it was 6 PointsPlus.

On the way back home we stopped into Subway with my brothers for lunch.  I had turkey, pepperjack cheese, and every vegetable imaginable for 16 PointsPlus.  yeah its a footlong but i was hungry after the light breakfast.  I ate about 3/4 of the sub.  I also had some apples.

The hubby and I had to go to Sams Club to get some fruit to take with us on our trip next week.  We had a $25 gift card for a local restaurant so we decided to stop in there.

We started out with salads I had a taziki like salad dressing.  We took our croutons off the salad (yeah we were really proud of ourselves!)  we had an appetizer of grilled shrimp (my favorite part of our meal) then for my entree I got lemon chicken with baked potato (with A1 sauce on it) and steamed vegetables (they put spanish rice under the chicken but I didn't eat any of it).  Overall it was a great meal.   Wow posting all of this has made me realize that we have eaten out way too much the past couple of days.  Tomorrow I am going to be cooking every meal!

I'm off to watch Extreme Couponing on TLC!
